Dashboard, wallets and cards

Learn all about the main differences between the dashboard, wallets and cards.

What is the difference between my wallet, card, and dashboard?

The dashboard is where you view your overall balance. Wallets hold balances and they hold cards so the structure is like this: Dashboard > Wallets > Cards.

Dashboard

The dashboard holds your overall balance. Access your funds on the dashboard by loading a wallet with funds. The dashboard holds up to 30 different currencies, which can be used for international payments.

Please note: Up to 15 currencies can be used for card spend. See currencies here.

Wallets
Wallets hold their own balance and their own cards. An example use of a wallet would be for a department to manage its own expenses and cards within the wallet. You can have as many wallets as you like.

Wallets enable you to view your balance in multiple currencies, which is helpful when you are planning expenditure for an overseas business trip.

Wallets have four main features:

  1. Holding various currencies (up to 15)
  2. Holding/View/Activate cards (as many as you like)
  3. Switch balance (allows you to convert currency)
  4. Order a card

Please note: Wallets can hold up to £15,000 at any given time and the maximum load for each wallet is £150,000 per annum. .Example: If you loaded your wallet with £140,000 in January, and £10,000 in November, the following January you will then be allowed to load up to £140,000, and if you load the maximum you will have to wait till November to load another £10,000.

Cards enable you to make purchases from the funds within a wallet. There are two types of cards: Physical card and virtual cards.

Please note: Virtual cards are restricted to online purchases, you will require a physical card to make in-store purchases.
