What currencies can I load on my personal Caxton Travel Card?

With your Caxton Travel Card, you have the flexibility to load funds in British pounds (GBP) and enjoy fee-free, on-the-spot conversions. This means you don’t need to load a specific currency when travelling—simply load GBP, and it will convert automatically to the local currency at the time of purchase, wherever Mastercard is accepted. This feature allows you to take advantage of Caxton’s competitive exchange rates without additional fees.

However, if you prefer to prepare in advance, you can preload your card with any of the following 14 currencies. Once loaded, the card will automatically use the balance in the currency of the transaction, provided funds are available in that currency.

The 14 available currencies you can preload are:

• EUR – Euro
• AUD – Australian Dollar
• CAD – Canadian Dollar
• NZD – New Zealand Dollar
• SGD – Singapore Dollar
• HKD – Hong Kong Dollar
• JPY – Japanese Yen

• CHF – Swiss Franc
• DKK – Danish Krone
• NOK – Norwegian Krone
• SEK – Swedish Krona
• HUF – Hungarian Forint

Using either approach—loading GBP for automatic conversions or preloading specific currencies—gives you control and convenience for your travels. You can also switch currencies, if you have loaded other currencies, exchanging between any currency that you have and any available currency that you need.
