ATM fees

Learn all about ATM fees for when using your card for cash withdrawals abroad.

Please note: It is down to the discretion of the ATM provider who decides if they will/will not charge you for using their machine. We wish we had some control over this but unfortunately, we don't.

We can confirm that Caxton do not apply any fees or charges when using your card for cash withdrawals or point of sale purchases abroad, however the ATM you are using may apply a small fee.

As far as which charge and which do not, this is up to their discretion and there currently is not a list of those who do not.

What we can say is anecdotally and in reading some trip advisors, that almost all banks in Spain are charging.

Please note: You can use your card contactless and Chip and Pin at any point of sale with no fees (as well as online transactions).
